Legal Reference Data¶
Note
There is no separate legal manager role. The legal reference data is maintained by the roles listed in the table below.
TrustSource CE uses three kinds of legal reference data besides your projects' own settings: templates for the legal requirements of projects and modules, the license catalog, and the list of third-party tools and trademarks used in the app. There is no dedicated menu group for them; each lives where the responsible role works.

Note
The license catalog in TrustSource CE holds metadata and texts only. Rights, obligations and compatibility of licenses are evaluated during analysis by the legal check service, not edited in the app. The SaaS edition's Manage Legal screen with license constraints is not part of TrustSource CE; see CE and SaaS compared.
Company-specific licenses are kept under Administration → Settings → Private licenses (Account admin, Compliance manager); see Settings.
