Licenses

The license database contains detailed information about open-source and commercial licenses — obligations, permissions, restrictions, compatibility notes and your company's approval status.

What you can do

  • Search by license name or SPDX identifier.
  • View obligations — attribution, copyleft, patent grant, source disclosure, etc.
  • See commercial terms — if configured for your company.
  • Check approval status — allowed, restricted or forbidden per your policy.
