The legal management view lets you curate license interpretations across the company portfolio. Where the standard license database provides general information, this view lets legal managers add company-specific assessments, override default obligation mappings and maintain a reviewed-license inventory.

What you can do

  • Review licenses found in scans and mark them as reviewed, approved or restricted for your company context.
  • Edit license details — add company-specific notes, interpretation guidance, or override default obligation flags.
  • Create private licenses for proprietary or custom license texts not in the public database.
  • Set commercial terms — define whether and under what conditions a license is acceptable for your use cases.

Difference from Knowledge → Licenses

The Knowledge → Licenses page shows the public license database and is readable by all users. This management page adds the ability to curate, annotate and override interpretations for your company.
